Peanut Butter Banana Shake
Cook time:
Total time:
  • 1½ c frozen bananas, roughly chopped
  • ¼ c peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ⅔ c soy or almond milk
  • chocolate syrup, optional
  • food processor or blender
  1. Add the bananas, peanut butter, vanilla, and half the vegan milk to your food processor.
  2. Turn your food processor on and blend until smooth, adding remaining vegan milk little by little until desired thickness is reached.
  3. Serve in a tall glass with a wide straw or spoon and chocolate syrup.
Add more soy milk while blending if you want something closer to a milkshake, or slightly less to get the texture of soft-serve. For all you banana-haters: the riper your bananas were when you froze them, the more pronounced the banana flavor will be. If you use less ripe bananas and stir in a drizzle of chocolate sauce like I am apt to do, this tastes suspiciously like frozen peanut butter cups.
